i have my wheelchair ramp built, still has to have the railing painted
this week, but it is fucntional now. i can now be visited by people who
can't get up steps. i can avoid faling down steps now myself also.
so you are up to date.

i was surprised at how low the cost was of this compared to total cost for
my house. i used up part of my garage, so one car is in the drive, but the
cost otherwise was less than a half percent of my houses apprasied value. we
planned to do this when we picked this house. it is otherwise totally flat.
if builders had plans when they first built a house it would cost next to
nothing to have a ramp at one entrance even in the georgia hill country
where no flat land exist and steps are normal.
