Maybe have the "setting" be the Biosphere  (or whatever's newer or IN these
days)  Set it so they, the kids, are about to be put in the Biosphere... for
7 days.  What they will need, what they will eat, what they will do, see,
hear,.,...  experience.  Kids love that kind of stuff.
