Search for HPFCFG09 and see if you have the help file.
On my sytem, (which accessed this printer over my network),
the file is in C:\windows\system\
If not, I'd say the printer is not installed properly, (among
other things...)

When I had this problem about a year ago, I changed the
cartridge, returned it, and gave the printer a good cleaning.
(The cleaning instructions are very similar to the HP6xx inkjet
series instructions, which are the only ones I've seen on the WEB.)
