I have an IBM PC 233MHZ with an internal modem. While online it loses time, up to 0.5 an hour for 3 hours on line. When not online it keeps good time. Is it possibly because the cmos battery is on the way out and the internal modem draws to much power when on line.

Any theories greatfully accepted.
