I have an Athlon 1.2 GHz on my 2 computers and when I upgraded them, I
chose a Gigabit GA-7DX.

So far everything has been working great and I am very happy with it.

I disagree with the statement that there is no reason to upgrade to a
Pentium 4,
I just saw this article on how the 2 processors respond to a fan failure
:-o
If I left my computer on all the time and it was unattended, I would
choose a Pentium?
But, I'm sure that AMD will have to incorporate this type of protection
into their CPUs.
