See if you can switch the display drivers to Standard Vga in safe mode.
Then reboot and make sure you've cleaned out all the old drivers.  Then
reinstall.  You should have really changed to standard vga before you
deleted the drivers.

If that doesn't work, you can try a registry restore to a time before you
deleted the drivers.  Boot to dos, type scanreg /restore.  Pick a registry
backup. Reboot.  Then change to Standard VGA and continue.
