You weren't really living until you had to have channel locks permanently
mounted on the channel changer metal thing because your dad lost the plastic
knob turn thingy.

My Dad's idea of "the man thing" was to take a sack of TV bulbs to the
drugstore and test them all on that big tube tester.  That was a major
testosterone thing for him.
