Hi Jennison,

I remember hearing something like a promise that the procedure you wrote
below would work. Since then I've seen a lot of traffic regarding this
feature not working. I'd guess that it works under optimum conditions
(whatever those are). I tell my students to fall back on the copy and paste
routine. If the pdf file is created properly you can read it from your
favorite word processor.

Subject: quick question re Adobe's V5 reader?

Hello.

If a PDF file has been properly structured for accessibility, do I
understand
correctly that if I am running JAWS, that the file should be readable once
loaded in the V5 reader? I know that there isn't a plug-in, but do I have to
activate something in the reader before I go ahead and read the file?

Thanks,
Jennison
