Hi Listmates,

I am working up an informal survey to help support the incidence of
celiac disease and the pathologies or symptoms which lead to your diagnosis.
I would appreciate any help, and will summarize. I am sorry if this is
repetitve of any other surveys that may have been posted in the past, but for
my use I need more currenbt information.Thank you all for being a great list,
and any replies are greatly appreciated.

1) Was your/your childs/parents diagnosis determined by your doctor, or
confirmed by your doctor based on your suspicions?

2) What kind of doctor made the diagnosis? Dermatologist, pediatrician,
gastroenterologist, general practitioner or other? Was this due to a
referral from your general practitioner if a specialist was involved?

3) What were the specific symptoms that lead to your diagnosis?

4) How long did it take for you to be diagnosed?

5) Were you diagnosed based on a blood test, or did you also have a biopsy?

6) How long did it take for your diagnosis, for those with symptoms?

7) If asymptomatic (no symptoms), was the diagnosis based on the diagnosis
of other family members?

Again thank you, and have a great day, Paul
