Hi guys, I was going to get opinions about distilled alcohols such as whiskey and bourbons. I have read many conflicting things and since I do not have gluten reactions that I am really aware of, I don't trust my gut! I had read that the distilling process breaks down and elimininates the gluten. Jack Daniels assured me they do not add anything back in after the distiling process so it should be gluten free. I found a list of GF things and it stated that most distilled alcohols are truly safe even when made with an offending grain. The nutritionist here said no. I don't really know many Celiacs, and am interested to see others opinions.
Thanks
