Hey all
I have lard. But i'm used to mixing it with butter/margarine to make
frosting. Now, however, i'm putting the use of corn, soy, and whey on
hold, and therefore really can't get ahold of any margarines.

Does anyone make frosting without margarine? Can i beat oil the same
way and have it get frothy and coagulate like frosting requires? Can i
make frosting with pure lard?

On a related note, does anyone get any confectioner's sugar without
cornstarch in it?

Thanks for any info you might have.
