Hi,
I just saw the apple cake recipe and it is very similar to one my mom
always made...you know except now I make it without the gluten!! grin*
Anyway..if you make this sauce and pour some on while the cake is
warm...it makes it even better!!!!!!!!!!
Sauce for Apple Cake:
1/2 cup margarine,
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup evaporated milk
Mix in top of double boiler and heat until well blended.
....now you know that with a micro wave....who used a double
boiler...and on the stove top...just be sure it doesn't heat up
too fast and boil excessively!!! Ha...and if you do actually have
a double boiler and know how to use it...well you are ahead of
me...and all set!!!
