I have just received results from my first bone density test and, sure
enough, my scores were low. I must immediately begin taking calcium, but
here's the dilemma:
I tried a simple formula calcium supplement derived from calcium CARBONATE
and had a spastic colon type reaction. Then I read that calcium CITRATE can
be more easily digested by some people, so I went shopping for some. From
health food store to supermarket to drug store chain, I found it nearly
impossible to obtain a definitively gluten free, dye free, sugar free and soy
free calcium citrate supplement.
Here's my question:
Is there anyone out there who has had better luck digesting calcium citrate
or carbonate?
Has anyone had any success obtaining a gluten free, dye free, sugar free and
soy free calcium supplement?
Thank you, in advance, for taking the time to respond.
