     You would think he would at least get the correct information.  Some of
what Limbaugh said above, the part about waiting until all hearing is gone
and the implant being irreversible, is outdated information.  Also the
operation does not involve the brain.  The electrodes from the implant are
inserted in the cochlear in back of the ear.  Apparently none of the doctors
he has talked to are implant specialists and they have not kept up with
current CI developments.
     Some people from the C I email list that I follow (I have a C I) are
going to e-mail Limbaugh and try to set him straight.  Hopefully he will get
his fat head to a implant specialist soon.
