YOu asked if SmartGroups was the "latest incarnation" of YahooGroups. The
answer is NO. SmartGroups is an email service based in Europe, and neither
list owners or list subscribers have the kinds of problems that list
subscribers or owners have with either topica.com or yahoogroups. Between
those three services, smartgroups is a no-brainer choice, whether you are
starting a list, looking for a place to move one, or looking for one where
you won't be plagued by lots of ads at the ends of the messages, and won't
find yourself arbitrarily ending up on bounced status for no apparent
reason.
