Thanks to all of you who took the time to respond to my question re sending
attachments in Outlook.  I happen to use Eudora myself, so am totally
unfamiliar with Outlook.  A friend of mine asked me how to send attachments
in Outlook, and having the program on my computer, I set about trying to
help.  No wonder I didn't see anything relating to attachments in the main
menu system: You have to actually compose a new message in order to get the
Insert menu that contains an option to attach files.

Again, thanks to the many people who responded to my message.  I always
tell people how very helpful the members of this list are.
