Recently lost my hard drive. Had two. Reset the one to become the
master. Had to reinstall windows 98. Upon reinstalling my modem several
times I get a message that it is successfully installed but the port is
always busy when I try to dial. There is no conflict under device
manager. However when I go to try to change the port the modem is on, I
only have the one port - which happens to be the one the mouse is using.
No conflict though. Mouse works fine.
Any ideas?
