Joe Sambou:
As usual I find your take on issues to be clear and critical. The
article by Mr. Charles Sam forwarded by Mr. Gassama is as instructive as
it is timely. It is a message that all Gambians and friends of the
Gambia need to pay attention to.
I do not know Mr. Charles Sam, and in the end, this is not important.
What is important is the message not the messenger. I believe Charles
has provided a good critique of contemporary Gambia and offers
prescriptions for our beloved country for the twenty-first century.
This is the important issue for me.
I will post, later today, the last and concluding sections of the paper
I was privileged to give last August at the Mid-West Gambian Conference
in Chicago and at The Association of Third World Studies Conference in
Savannah, Georgia last month.
