Mr. Ceesay,
If you're not my good friend Ambassador Essa Bokarr
Sey, my apologies. There's no need to get worked up
about it. Your style of writing, and the non-issue you
seem to be dwelling on led me to believe that my man
is back again. If you've read the archives, surely you
couldn't have failed to notice that Son Excellence'
has used numerous pseudo names here, only to be
betrayed by his unique "arts." So, it wasn't the name
I was looking at, it was the writing style, your
irritation at a non-issue, and re-hashing of a funny
"grandma's dream" story peddled here by none other
than His Highness' emissary. So excuse me for
mistaking you for Monsieur. Blame it on the eerie
resemblance. There's something about time though: it
can't keep a secret. Whatever gave me this idea?
Hmmmmm...
For the record though, there's a world of difference
between Ousainou Dabo (running for national office)
speaking in a language that only 50% or so of Gambians
can speak, and some ordinary Gambian on G-L choosing
to contribute under a pen name. Apples and oranges
here. And the archives will show that I don't go after
anyone for choosing to go incognito. I reserve my
energy for the harebrained ideas that some try to make
us swallow. No sweat here.
Enjoy the weather in Coal Country if that's where you
live. Good luck.
Saul.
