I hope this e mail finds you all happy and well. I can go to the University
if I choose. Now what ? :) I have four classes left to get my Associate of
Arts Degree from the community college I am enrolled in. But I don't know,
I get the feeling that I still have something to prove. My parents are both
older and continue to support me 100%. I am at present living at home. I
just want to get out and see if I can make it on my own. I mean if
something goes wrong I can always come home and finish the four classes
right?
I guess you could say I am looking for a new challenge. What sort of
reputation does the University of Georgia have? In terms of academics and
disability access? I have done some research and every website has
different information. I have started serious correspondences with the
disability people at UGA. I guess I am happy, worried, and scared at the
same time. The people at the disability office are very nice. I guess I
will have a meeting with them and tour the campus and then see.
For the new people on this list I am 24 year old male and have Cerebral
Palsy and use a wheelchair to get around.
I will keep you informed,
Jan
