Kathy Jo,

I'm not going to comment on the mistake you made, as presumably it's in the
past, and you've learned your lesson. Unfortunately, you betrayed the trust
of you drivers and you will need to regain that trust. It's going to take
time and patience on both sides.

I'm afraid you're going to have to accept the fact that any attendant care
is going to cost you money. And that goes for transport, too. Doesn't the
city or county where you live have transportation for disabled people? If
they don't you need to start lobbying for it. Contact the local
transportation board to see what it takes to get one. Or is there a local
cab company you can use on an occasional basis? If you don't live in or
near a good-sized metropolitan area, how far away is the nearest big town?
If you want transport or to be near younger people, you may need to move to
where you will find them. I know that's probably not practical right now,
but you may want to start thinking about such a strategy.

Also, what happened to that place you liked so much, Cornerstone? Why don't
you seriously plan to move there? What's stopping that from happening? If
that's what you really and truly want, do it.

Kat
