Yeah, I know. Hounds are great, but this one was just a bad seed. He came
from great hunting stock, but he just would not "work" a scent line. He'd
just lope around chasing sparrows, and then, of course, when he had the urge
to take a dump---he'd make a beeline for the house. ;>)
He had a great "voice", though. I love hound songs, but I don't beleive the
neighbors were as appreciative of his baritone.

I bought this beagle pup a few years back to take rabbit hunting (before I
got too gimpy). Anyway, I had a helluva time housebreaking this dog as he'd
crap right in his bed--dog just didn't care. The camel got his back broken
when I'd walked the dog through four miles of brush, only for him to come
home and sh*t right in the middle of the living room! Dog was as dumb as
the ex-wife (almost!).
