The second round of special listening/reporting sessions the mayor began 
earlier this year with communities of color wraps up next week with the 
Native American and Latino community.  Mayor Susan J.M. Bauman met earlier in the month with the African American and Southeast Asian communities.

The first round was chiefly an opportunity for the mayor to hear about 
topics of specific interest and concern to people of color.  In the second 
round the mayor is addressing some of those same concerns, plus sharing some insights she's gained from talking with City managers on the issues.  New points of view and new topics for discussion will be welcome as part of a constructive, ongoing exchange.

Mayor Bauman is meeting with members of the Native American community at the South Madison Health and Family Center - Harambee, 2202 S. Park St., from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m., Monday, April 24.

On Tuesday, April 25, Mayor Bauman meets with members of the Latino 
Community at the Warner Park Community Recreation Center, 1625 Northport 
Drive, from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.

These listening/reporting sessions are open to the public.  Members of the 
public are welcome to attend.

Madison's award winning City Channel 12 is filming the listening/reporting 
session with the Southeast Asian and Latino communities for later broadcast. 
The Southeast Asian program airs May 5, 14, and 19.  The Latino program 
airs May 7, 12, and 20.
