If you do your own survey of those you know personally and casually who have
developed cancer, of all forms, you will realize that they were all high
carb or sugar eaters. At least that's my own observation and experience.

Is this a scientific observation? I think not. I am reacting to this only
because most of the people on this list have or will have close friends or
relatives or personal experience with this medical crisis. I have to tell
you that not all of the persons that I know who have cancer or have died
from cancer were "high carb or sugar eaters." I am an ardent advocate of
paleo but I believe that the cancer issue is much more complicated,
unfortunately. We have the issue of free radicals which are not per se a by
product of high carb, the concern over pesticides that, for example, mimic
estrogen and other hormones, and concerns over hydrocarbons and pvc. I
could go on. Diabetes, cardiovascular disease and obesity are obviously
more definitively linked to carb abuse by the research which is much
discussed on this list. However, I think that we do ourselves a disservice
by going so far as saying that Ca etiology is per se carbs.
