It seems that we sometimes hold the Masai as examples of the
benefits of paleo diet. The following article,

view.
"Without fertile land on which to live permanently and grow crops,
diets exclusively of meat and blood contribute to the Masai's low
life expectancy. Younger children, especially, suffer from
malnutrition and premature death."
