        The orientation doesn't matter anymore. In the days of stepper motor
movements the orientation of the drive WAS important since there was no
position feedback going on, in these days all drives use voice coil
movements and active feedback which is immune from the effects of a drive
being on it's side or back. I've had drives in a variety of orientations
running for years without any problems. TTYL
