It's not a hoax.  Unfortunately, it's not even a fluke.  It's yet another
example of an OTD (Outlook Transmitted Disease).

I'm happy, though, that virus authors have apparently given up the
strategy of using email addresses found in the victim's browser cache.
Webmasters, like me, got flooded with hundreds of copies of those viruses.
I have only gotten a half-dozen or so "MyParty" emails.
