Susan,

Without knowing more about your visual condition, it isn't really possible
to credibly assess your needs and evaluate products. The expected change
could happen slowly, within the next few months or be relatively stable over
the next five years. Understanding the diagnosis and prognosis is really
important in deciding how important certain tools will likely play in your
life.

several of the products you mentioned are excellent and the best in the
world. However, a world class product may not be appropriate for you. I
have written a whole package introducing people to adaptive technology and
helping them create circles of support, adaptive technology teams, and
ultimately choose the technology that is right for them. It is available on

www.esight.org

free registration is required to access the articles. You may wish to use
the services of an adaptive technology specialist instead of forging your
own path. I would encourage you though to read through the articles to at
least have a sense of best practices.

Kelly
