Harry Brown asked about retrieving lost messages frem his computer.
Harry,
I don't know what email program you're using and I couldn't find your original
message from a few weeks ago. If you have not retrieved your messages yet, and if
you have Outlook Express 5x or 6, there is a program that might help.
The program is called DBXtract, and it's free. Outlook Express 5 and newer versions
store e-mail and newsgroup messages in a format called ".dbx" and all messages
should be stored on your hard drive. DBXtract should be able to help retrieve them.
I have not used DBXtract and I don't know how accessible the progam is. If you want
to try DBXtract, it can be downloaded from the following URL, but, be sure to pass
over the first link on the page which goes to another program called DBXtend:
http://chattanooga.net/~scochran/DBXtract.htm
Hope this is helpful.
