Interesting. If I understand you correctly, GDI+ may prevent
third-party software from capturing graphical screen content
(for re-display in another modality, format or size)?
If so, that will not only affect screen magnifiers, but also
block the screen sonification functions of The vOICe seeing
with sound software, which can otherwise be used to sound for
instance graphs and bitmaps from other applications as they
appear visually on the screen, thus providing some level of
access to pure graphics for totally blind people.
