Greetings listers,
Please can anybody advise me how I can recover data from a winzip file
which winzip says has an unrecoverable read error?
I've looked at the properties and it shows last modified on 8 December at
8:41 a.m., created about a minute before that but it says access unknown.
all I attempted to do was, as on hundreds of times before, read some data
from the archive to use for sending out some snail mail; so I simply went
to the folder on my cd-rw and entered on the file then it came up with this
error.
I do have a version archived on another disk but it has been altered being
about a fortnight older and I cannot remember exactly what changed between
the versions.
If anybody knows of maybe a piece of software that can hack into the file
and grab the data, I would be most grateful.
Cheers.
