"Talking'' automated teller machines, designed to help the visually
impaired, were unveiled yesterday by Bank One. Ruta Agresti, a
customer-service representative, demonstrated how blind customers can
use the Braille keys and earphones at the 100 E. Broad St. main
branch. The bank has installed 30 of the ATMs in the Chicago and
Columbus areas and plans to add 100 machines in these and other
markets. Click here to hear the ATM talk.
