Part 1. The Date and Time of VICUG NYC's Next Meeting

VICUG NYC's next General Membership Meeting will be held in the
Board room of Selis Manor on Tuesday, May first from 6:30
to 8 PM.

That's right--May first. The change allows us to welcome a special guest.
Francine Callaghan, Director of Sales Canada & USA for TECSO will speak to
us and demonstrate the companies interactive tutorials. TECSO's tutorials
include: Listening to Windows 98, Listening to the Internet, and Listening
to Word 2000. These tutorials are CD-based and include digitally recorded
voices and are compatible with JAWS for Windows. You listen to a lesson,
pause the tutorial and practice what you have learned. Tutorials are
available in English, Spanish, French and Italian.

So, please make sure and take advantage of this opportunity to meet an
international visitor and hear a presentation on something we all
need--computer training.

Membership dues for 2001 will be collected at the May first
meeting. Dues are a mere twelve dollars, and endow you with the right
to hold office, the right to vote, and a clear conscience. If you plan
on paying in cash, please bring exact change! Thanks to all who paid
dues at previous meetings.

And, remember, if you have a suggestion for a future presentation,
please either fill out the survey, located at:
     http://www.hicom.net/~oedipus/vicug/survey.html
or email the <[log in to unmask]> list directly, and let us know!
