SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
April 17, 2001

Auditorium (room 166) in the IIDD Building
1640 W. Roosevelt Rd.
Preamble: Our History 10:00 AM
Panel discussion featuring 4 disabled women in the national and
international disability community. We will have a discussion of the
histories of disability rights movements in a national and international
context. The forum will conclude with a screening of "Power of 504."
Immediately following the forum and video screening, all are invited to
"Leave Out" in solidarity with the National Disabled Students Union for the
rally.

March/Caravan 12:05 PM
The March/Caravan will begin at 1640 W. Roosevelt Rd., and continue North
on Ashland, East on Taylor to the Lecture Center Plaza on East Campus.

Lecture Center Plaza outside of the Chicago Circle Center (CCC)- East
Campus, 802-806 S. Halsted St and 805-807 S. Morgan St.
In case of inclement weather the Rally will be held in the Montgomery Ward
Lounge (West of the CCC) 750 South Halsted Street

Rally 1:00 PM
Featured speakers include: Judith Heumann, Justin Dart, Jan Schakowski,
Deanne "Flagpole Mom" & Ryan Lesneski.

Teach-in 4:00 PM. A Teach-in will be conducted about the Garrett decision
with an open microphone for individual comments and questions.
