Ouch! If it cost me that much, I'd think twice too! You can buy them
at Startech.com for US$72.99. You can pick them up from us for less.
They are invaluable for cutting down on troubleshooting time and the
risk of damaging components by removing/replacing them in an attempt to
isolate the problem. Maybe they scraped off the diamonds. :)

Steve, I'm curious as to what you call 'very inexpensive'.
The cheapest diagnostic card available here sells for about $1500, about
the price of a good used car.
I've been building and repairing computers for many years now, but so
far I've managed to do without one of these diamond-encrusted gadgets,
and will continue to do so while they remain so ridiculously priced.
