Have you tried setting the 6X drive as master and the CD/RW as slave? What
about moving the 6X cd to the primary IDE channel? Unfortuately, I have run
into several combinations of CD drives that I could never get to work as
master/slave together. Recently, I have had problems with a combo of a Sony
CD/RW and a Creative CD that I never could solve. I ended up changing the
Creative CD for a Sony and the system was happy.
