Mark, this is my last word on this subject. For someone who is in the business, keeping a 286, 386 or 486 with old peripherals may make some sense, but for most of us who have one or two computers, 4 to 5 year old stuff is as about as old as it gets. We may give our old computer to our kid(s), but when I replace my equipment it goes out of the house, either by donation or maybe an eBay sale. I have no place to store old hard drives, and other used parts. It's American consumerism at its finest. Joseph
