This sounds like a free speech issue, but your status as disabled
student seems to need clarification...?? The second might have some
impact on the first, when push comes to shove.

Though it hardly seems that someone should be offended at  mere mention
of a subject...opinion is protected speech, even if it offends someone,
but from the letter it sounds like all you did was mention
something...huh??
