Is the road paved? is there a sidewalk?  Kathy Jo, do try to take a short
walk by yourself in your powerchair the more often you practice this, the
more empowered you'll become. You will discover things on your walks, and
being out in nature will be good for you. Now please note; use common sense,
don't go out if there's a snowstorm or rain...
