That reminds me of the time my father gave me one of those fancy electronic
stud finders with the glowing red LED indicators.  I called him up and
thanked him, but regretfully informed him that it was defective.  When he
wanted to know what was wrong with it, I told him I took it to every bar in
town and it didn't light up once. . .
