*** First, the invitation ***
Please join the African Association of Madison, Inc.,
to celebrate our African high achieving high school
and college graduates in the Madison area.
Let's celebrate these achievements, honor our
graduates and cement the commitment and seriousness of
Africans to education.
WHEN: Saturday, June 11, 2005
TIME: 7:30 PM
WHERE: Eagle Heights Community Center
MUSIC: The explosive Mix of DJís Lasisi and Joe
MAIN FEATURES: Accolades, Fun, Prizes, Food, Adult and
Junior Beverages, etc, etc.
KEEP THE DATE AND TIME OPEN.
*** And a final request for information ***
We have gathered a great deal of information
about graduates in the Madison area, thanks to
your kind help. We have some holes in our
information, though, so if you can help fill it
in or if you know of a graduate who is not on the
list, please let us know today (Thursday) or
tomorrow (Friday). Please don't feel bad if your
graduate is not on the list. I'm well into my 40s
and can begin to claim feeble memory, right?
Some of the country attributions I could easily
guess or even know for sure but I'd prefer not to
make any mistakes or assumptions. Please help us
fill out this list with whatever information you
can. To keep your keystrokes to a minimum, you
can just fill in the information under the names
you know about and add the following information
about each new graduate:
Name:
Degree Earned:
School Attended:
Country of Origin:
Future Plans:
We are eager to honor all our graduates. Please
contribute whatever information you know, even if
you think someone else will surely do so. If it's
not on the following list, then we don't have the
info yet. Thank you so much for all the
information you have sent already and for you
help in "going the last kilometer."
