Yesterday I went to a matinee of *Bowling for Columbine* with my
15-year-old son because he was able to get extra credit from his
social studies teacher for watching it. It was an eye-opener. I hope
it is not an abuse of this list to recommend a movie. In my defense,
I have nothing (monetary) to gain from anyone and everyone seeing
this movie. Bowling for Columbine is currently playing in Madison
theaters and is an excellent Michael Moore documentary about gun
violence in America. If you are turned off by the word "documentary,"
ignore it. The requisite information is delivered with a great deal
of humor, compassion, and creative talent. For more info and to view
a trailer, visit http://www.bowlingforcolumbine.com/
