Associate Outreach Specialist, Half-Time
Manage and coordinate program activities for the university
outreach
project on family networks, practices and beliefs. Office located in
the
Villager Mall on South Park Street.
Responsibilities include assisting faculty and staff with community
assessments, program planning, implementation and evaluation,
providing
leadership for resident meetings, designing products that present
family
beliefs and practices, providing written progress reports, and
assisting with
grant proposal submissions.
Candidates must possess strong organizational and communication skills,
the
ability to work with persons of diverse backgrounds, including African
American
residents, and a Bachelor's degree in Social Science or a related
field.
