"A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan
an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a
building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall,
set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders,
cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new
problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty
meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is
for insects." - Robert Heinlein, Science Fiction Author

Hi everybody,

As I was scanning the archives, it struck me that the archives begin from
Feb. 97.I thank one and all for having contributed their knowledge--be it
in terms of insights, articles, and other resources for the overall
development of all of us. This is one list where the signal-to-noise ratio
is extremely favorable. The knowledge gleaned here can be compared to
"education via email."

"If you think education is expensive, try ignorance." - Derek Bok,
Ex-president of Harvard
