Rick:
ME is an upgrade from Win98. I am booting from a floppy - the typical
start-up disk. I am sure this is just a matter of copying a couple of files
onto my C drive, but which ones???

Are you booting from a floppy boot disk, or directly from the
CD-ROM as a bootable CD?
The files may only be available if you boot from the CD itself.
This might be especially important if the CD is an UpDate or
UpGrade version of ME. (Since files would not be on the
HD after a format...)
