Check the BIOS to see if you can disable the integrated modem. If so, you can install anything you want.

>I have a motherboard with an integrated Conexant Smart MCII & SmartDAA v.90 modem.  At this point Gateway is no help and I haven't found anything out there specific to this model.  Can I install a regular plug and play PCI modem or won't the BIOS let me?
