Hello list,
My 2 networked PCs has stopped working. The PCs are linked with
crossover cable. Bought a new cable, still doesn't work (but they test
the cables with ohm-meter in store, not in a real network, so the
second cable could be bad too).
Self-test on one of the cards, _only if either network cable is plugged
in on both cards_, reports:
"Basic Internal Lookback // RX Failed // RX RDES0 Error //
RDES0=00F4970A"
The cards are CNET PCI-200. I suspect one of the cards is bad. Can
I be sure one of the cards is bad based on this error message?
Yours,
