Like everyone else, I wish I could say Tombong did a good job
and go on to wish him well but I cant. I think the man is
an oppurtinist and a sycophant. He just had a taste of his own
medicine. I remember when it was reported that he got fired the
first time around, he chided folks and told them to keep
dreaming. It seems he is the one living in utopia.
I do not consider his postings anymore valuable because they are
nonsensical diatribes devoid of integrity. The man that heads our
only TV station specializes in singing ditties to the president.
I have lived in the Gambia for a month this year and his
choice of programs on the TV is pathetic. His news coverage is
as simple as ever; concentrating on what Jammeh did and whom he
sent what to.
As for his pledge of allegiance to the president and APRC, its
Hobson's Choice. He has very little chance at survival if he
chooses another route. Yaya made the man and to yaya the man
shall ever be loyal to; no matter what. With the inherent
sycophancy in Tombong, he does not have the guts to take the
high way. He gots to go his master's way or have his head
rolled. Yaya and his folks. This is vigilantism run amok.
