Dear Accessibility Advocates (ASCLA-L, LIBDEAF, and AXSLIB-L list members):

Recruitment of applicants for the 2007 ASCLA Century Scholarship 
(http://www.ala.org/ascla/centuryscholarship.html ) is now in progress. 
Thank you in advance for promoting this diversity scholarship opportunity 
established by the Association of Specialized and Cooperative Library 
Agencies (ASCLA) Division of the American Library Association (ALA).

The next application receipt deadline for the ASCLA Century Scholarship is 
March 1, 2007.

The independently-funded and endowed ASCLA Century Scholarship is given 
annually to a student with accessibility needs to help the ASCLA Century 
Scholar successfully complete his/her studies at an ALA-accredited library 
and information science [LIS] program and become an active LIS professional.

- There is no credit-hour limit for this scholarship.
- Members of diverse cultures and veterans who meet the ASCLA Century 
Scholarship criteria are encouraged to apply.
