Nutramigen is an OTC casein hydrosylate formula.  If you are avoiding
dairy, it probably would be best to stay clear of that one.  I don't
recall the percentage, but I think it's 10% of dairy allergic children
still react to Nutramigen/Alimentum formulas.  Have you looked at Neocate
1+, Vivonex, Elocare, etc.  These are all prescription elemental
formulas.  They are very expensive, but often can be covered by insurance
as a medical neccessity.  They make specific versions for children over a
year old.  They are for primary feeding of children who cannot tolerate
any forms of protein.
